The following are just a few of the projects keeping AAH’s staff busy during the month of May:
- AAH participated in a May 1 asthma town hall hosted by Baylor College of Medicine’s Environmental Health Service and Harris Health System. The event covered the burden of asthma in the community and how flooding events—such as Hurricane Harvey—affect asthma sufferers and how they can be more resilient in the future.
- One Breath Partnership and AAH will be participating in the Pasadena Restoration Fair community meeting at Baker Ripley in Pasadena on Thursday, May 24.
- One Breath Partnership is looking for individuals interested in being community members and/or sharing their air pollution stories on the project website. Click here to learn more.
- This Saturday, May 19, join AAH staff in the beautification of Eastwood Park. Volunteers are needed to help garden, mulch and pick up litter.
