Each month, City of Houston Council Member Tarsha Jackson hosts the District B Monthly Briefing so constituents can be updated on the environmental issues in the district. Some city departments and other government offices may be invited to present information and important updates for the district B community.

Martin Marietta Materials LLC, has applied to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for renewal of Air Quality Permit Number 55353, which would authorize continued operation of an Asphalt Plant located at 600 Lockwood Drive, Houston, Harris County, Texas 77011.
