District F Youth Conference on environmental justice in Houston – October 16, 2021

Join Houston City Council, District F, and partners in a candid discussion about food deserts, water contamination, flooding, air pollution, and community upkeep. The panel will be led by elected officials, community leaders, professors, and scientific experts, including AAH’s Legal and Advocacy Director.

Our Legal and Advocacy Director, Stephany Mgbadigha will join the panel for this important discussion about the pressing issues- in Houston and District F in particular -surrounding environmental justice.

Via this discussion, the goal is to perpetuate the importance of environmental justice by providing resources to youth for tangible actionable items.

Pre-Conference Session: On October 15, 2021, from 7 to 8 PM at Tracy Gee Community Center in Houston, Texas, there will be an in-person opportunity to meet fellow youth and to pick up shirts. This is limited to the first 50 registrants.
