When: Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 3:00 – 7:00 PM CT

Where: Online via Zoom

Join the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), on July 8th @ 3:00 p.m. CT for their second webinar on considering changes to the Clean Air Act’s Risk Management Plan (RMP) rule, also known as the ‘Chemical Disaster Rule.’ They may be deciding to reverse the Trump Administration’s rollback of rules that help prevent chemical fires, explosions, toxic releases and other disasters.

We want to show the EPA how important it is to ask for public input by filling these sessions with community voices calling for stronger chemical disaster prevention rules.

Registration to provide oral testimony during the meeting closed July 6, but we encourage everyone to attend and listen in. The public can submit written comments up until July 15, 2021 at http://www.regulations.gov (Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OLEM-2021-0312).
