Free food and drinks with reflections by Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee; policy advisor Zoe Middleton; professor, writer and founder of the Houston Flood Museum Dr. Lacy M. Johnson; City of Houston poet laureate Outspoken Bean.
7:15 PM: Climate Justice Museum
Free beer, art exhibitions curated by Matt Manalo and Willow Curry and interactive tables by Air Alliance Houston; Citizens’ Environmental Coalition; Connective; Houston Inspira artist Dria Brookings; Environment Texas.
Books about climate action and environmental justice will be for sale by Brazos Bookstore.
We encourage you as you are able to bike, walk, roll, use transit and share rides. The event is walkable from the Coffee Plant/Second Ward station on the METRORail Green Line.
