The METRORapid University Corridor is a 25.3-mile public transportation project intended to increase mobility in some of Houston’s busiest and congested streets. The METRORapid University Corridor will provide frequent service to key destinations, more reliable trips, more connectivity to other METRO services, and more accessibility. The METRORapid University Corridor will contain 5 segments.
On Thursday, March 9, 2023, METRO will hold a public meeting for community feedback regarding Segment 1 of the project. Segment 1 runs along Westpark Drive between Westchase Park & Ride and the Westpark / Lower Uptown Transit Center.
The meeting will be held at the Chinese Community Center at 9800 Town Park Dr, Houston, TX 77036 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM.
