The METRORapid University Corridor is a 25.3-mile public transportation project intended to increase mobility in some of Houston’s busiest and congested streets. The METRORapid University Corridor will provide frequent service to key destinations, more reliable trips, more connectivity to other METRO services, and more accessibility. The METRORapid University Corridor will contain 5 segments.
On Thursday, March 2, 2023, METRO will hold a public meeting for community feedback regarding Segment 2 of the project. Segment 2 runs through Greenway / Upper Kirby and Montrose. A large portion of this route segment travels along Richmond Ave.
The meeting will be held at Houston Community College Central Campus at 1300 Holman St, Houston, TX 77004 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM.
