The METRORapid University Corridor is a 25.3-mile public transportation project intended to increase mobility in some of Houston’s busiest and congested streets. The METRORapid University Corridor will provide frequent service to key destinations, more reliable trips, more connectivity to other METRO services, and more accessibility. The METRORapid University Corridor will contain 5 segments.
On Saturday, March 4, 2023, METRO will hold a public meeting for community feedback regarding Segment 3 of the project. Segment 3 runs between Wheeler Station Transit Center (along the METRORail Red Line) and the Eastwood Transit Center.
The meeting will be held at the Third Ward Multi-Service Center at 3611 Ennis St, Houston, TX 77004 from 9:30 AM-11:00 AM.
