The METRORapid University Corridor is a 25.3-mile public transportation project intended to increase mobility in some of Houston’s busiest and congested streets. The METRORapid University Corridor will provide frequent service to key destinations, more reliable trips, more connectivity to other METRO services, and more accessibility. The METRORapid University Corridor will contain 5 segments.
On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, METRO will hold a public meeting for community feedback regarding Segment 4 of the project. Segment 4 runs between Eastwood Transit Center and Fifth Ward / Denver Harbor Transit Center. This route segment travels along Lockwood Drive.
The meeting will be held at the Houston Community College – Felix Fraga Campus at 301 North Drennan St., Houston, TX 77003 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM.
