The METRORapid University Corridor is a 25.3-mile public transportation project intended to increase mobility in some of Houston’s busiest and congested streets. The METRORapid University Corridor will provide frequent service to key destinations, more reliable trips, more connectivity to other METRO services, and more accessibility. The METRORapid University Corridor will contain 5 segments.
On Saturday, February 25, 2023, METRO will hold a public meeting for community feedback regarding Segment 4 of the project. Segment 4 runs between Eastwood Transit Center and Fifth Ward / Denver Harbor Transit Center. This route segment travels along Lockwood Drive.
The meeting will be held in the Baker Ripley – Ripley House Gymnasium at 4414 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77011 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM.
