TWO stakeholder meetings will be held by TCEQ to discuss various TCEQ processes, including public participation, pursuant to the Resolution of the Environmental Protection Agency Complaint Number 02NO-20-R6. The meetings will include topics such as the permitting process; opportunities for public involvement; accessing and interpreting air quality data; how citizen collected evidence is used in enforcement; and accessing information relating to public emergencies. Each meeting will include an opportunity to examine TCEQ mobile air quality monitoring equipment, to “Ask an Expert” questions, and to participate in formal presentations on the above topics.
Meeting one will be November 1, 2022 at Milby High School, 1601 Broadway St, Houston, Texas.
Meeting two will be November 2, 2022 at Sam Rayburn High School, 2121 Cherry Brook Ln, Pasadena, Texas.
The opportunity to see and ask questions about TCEQ mobile equipment and “Ask an Expert” sessions will begin at 5:00 p.m. The formal presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m. The formal presentations will be recorded and linked on TCEQ’s website as a community resource. During the meeting, TCEQ will provide simultaneous professional language interpretation in Spanish for the formal presentations.
