The W.A. Parish coal-fired power plant in Fort Bend County (located just outside of Houston), has threatened public health and the natural environment for decades. This outdated facility is one of the worst polluters in the nation and is responsible for ~177 premature deaths a year.

We encourage you to take action by participating in our canvassing effort! As a volunteer, you will be asked to block walk the community and distribute information on the coal plant!

A care package will be included for all volunteers. Temperatures are high and we want to make sure everyone is safe and taken care of! We will also include a script for you to follow and flyers to distribute.
No prior experience needed!
