BREATHE Tool

Every day, the Texas Commission for Environmental Quality (TCEQ) collects and publishes data about air pollution in Houston.

Air Alliance Houston has put together a mapping tool called BREATHE (Bringing Research Education and Advocacy Together for Houston’s Environment) in an effort to make this data more accessible to the public.

This tool enables you to explore information regarding your neighborhood, such as where environmental hazards and public air monitors are located, whether your neighbors have submitted complaints to regulatory agencies, where illegal air pollution releases have occurred, and other information that can help give a better sense of what is going on in your community.
