The Cheek Texas Community Association will host a Town Hall on Lunes, Noviembre 17, 2025
Residents of Cheek, Diamond D Ranch, Pine Islands Estates, and surrounding communities are invited to participate. We have invited a range of experts to discuss the risks of carbon capture and storage, pipelines, and property rights.
New scientific findings will be shared about the proposed ExxonMobil Rose CCS project that may affect our area and may open questions about future CCS projects including the ExxonMobil Sunflower CCS.
Please attend and bring your questions!

Petra Nova Parish Holdings LLC, a Fossil Fuel Electric Power Generation facility, has applied to the TCEQ for a Renewal of Federal Operating Permit No. O3611 to authorize operation of a Carbon Capture Plant located at 2500 Y U Jones Rd in Richmond, Fort Bend County, Texas 77469-3558.

Derichebourg Recycling USA – New Terminal: New Air Quality Permit No. 180552 AND N322
Derichebourg Recycling USA has applied to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for the issuance of Permit 180552 and Nonattainment Permit N322, which would authorize construction of a new shredding facility located at: 1 Wharf Street, Houston, Harris County,
Texas 77012.
The proposed facility will emit the following air contaminants: carbon monoxide, hazardous air pollutants, nitrogen oxides, organic compounds, particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5) and sulfur dioxide.

Contaminantes comunes del aire
