Her unwavering dedication and passion for making a difference have left an indelible mark on the city. She holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management, a Bachelor of Science in Training and Development, and a Bachelor of Science in Counseling, which equips her with a comprehensive understanding of the needs and dynamics of the communities she serves.
With extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, Thelisa has worked tirelessly to support individuals and families facing multifaceted challenges, including homelessness, hunger, domestic abuse, and human trafficking. She has also made a significant impact on the lives of adult learners by spearheading adult literacy programs and has been instrumental in providing vital training and education opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
Outside of work, Thelisa enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling.
