While the council always has important matters and information there are not always air quality or environmental justice issues on the agenda. When these issues do come up on the agenda we value community support in protecting previously underserved groups from poor air quality.

STOP TxDOT I-45 General Meeting

This group was founded in response to the Texas Department of Transportation’s North Houston Highway Improvement Project. Their meetings are announced via their newsletter (register here) and on their social media (Instagram: @stoptxdot-i45). Each meeting will have general updates on the project and planning on actions/strategy against the project as it stands.
