Transportation Justice Coordinator
As Transportation Justice Coordinator, Melissa works to build relationships with residents in diverse communities to understand transportation issues they face and advocate for equitable and transformative policy solutions.
Melissa holds a master’s degree in Community and Regional Planning, a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a planning certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners. Before AAH, she worked as a transportation planner at the City of Houston and as a community planner at Texas Housers.
Outside of work, Melissa can be found practicing piano, walking her dog or riding her bike.
