A Rice University Alum and Houstonian, Naquanza received her bachelor’s degree in Visual and Dramatic Arts and Architecture. She fell in love with Track & Field at a very young age, which led to a number of personal bests, life lessons and an introduction to a lifetime of opportunities. She was the leader and record holder in the 800 (PB-2:04) and 1600 (PB- 4:46.87) meter races during her high school years and continued leading her field through college until a major hip injury which ruined her chance for a spot on the 2012 Olympic Team. Naquanza’s love for training and competition continues on through philanthropy. Naquanza moved on to property management and leaped into CWS’s bridge program and was featured in Houston Chronicle’s 2016 Houston Gives Corporate Giving Article.

She spent countless hours volunteering at local schools and community programs making sure others had the same opportunities she was afforded.
