What’s Happening?
In July last year, Mayor Turner made a public commitment to listen to residents’ concerns regarding the I-45 expansion. Now is the time to act!
We must call on the Mayor and City Council members to hold TxDOT accountable and not support the I-45 expansion project if it does not mitigate negative impacts on communities.
Please join us, LINK Houston, other members of the Make I-45 Better Coalition, Stop TxDOT I-45, and residents across the city, to speak out on the I-45 project on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 2:00 p.m. at City Hall during City Council’s public session.
This is one of the last opportunities to voice your concerns and to press the Mayor and elected officials to stop TxDOT from destroying Houston communities. It is crucial that we show up in mass.
Please find here more information on the meeting and talking points to adapt for your remarks.
