HOUSTON, TX – The fossil fuel industry that our communities live near and work in has consistently failed to be the ‘good neighbors’ they claim to be contributing to health concerns and the creation of cancer clusters in our communities.
Air Alliance Houston stands in solidarity with those arrested while protesting CERA week and the continued harm to air quality and health posed by these companies.
Protesting is free speech protected by our First Amendment right of the US Constitution. Our colleagues have exercised that right for our communities and our environment. We ask for stronger environmental regulations that protect Houstonians and Texans.
