Each month, City of Houston Council Member Tarsha Jackson hosts the District B Monthly Briefing so constituents can be updated on the environmental issues in the district. Some city departments and other government offices may be invited to present information and important updates for the district B community.

This group was founded in response to the Texas Department of Transportation’s North Houston Highway Improvement Project. Their meetings are announced via their newsletter (register here) and on their social media (Instagram: @stoptxdot-i45). Each meeting will have general updates on the project and planning on actions/strategy against the project as it stands.
