Feb. 22: Historic Climate Change and Health Town Hall Meeting Among Asian American Pacific Islander Community in Houston

WHAT:
Media members are invited to a first-of-its-kind town hall meeting with Houston’s Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. This important gathering aims to explore the connections between climate, health, families, and their specific impact on AAPIs. The event aims to elevate dialogue, foster awareness, and spark actionable solutions tailored to the unique needs and strengths of the AAPI community.

Community members will be able to engage with diverse experts, community leaders, and elected officials and participate in solution-oriented discussions aimed at uncovering innovative, culturally sensitive approaches to address climate change and enhance community well-being.

Language interpretation will be available in Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean.
