If you live near a facility, you are eligible to request a Contested Case Hearing (CCH) to oppose air permits. Contested Case Hearings are legal proceedings that allow individuals to present evidence in opposition to the permit application. We’ll cover the TCEQ, permitting process and affected person status, how to submit a CCH request, and what to expect after taking this action.
