We teamed up with Houston organizations (Bayou City Waterkeeper, Bike Houston, Coalition for Environment, Equity, and Resilience (CEER), LINK Houston) to ask City of Houston Mayoral and At-Large candidates about our environmental and safety concerns.

Air Alliance Houston (AAH) is a non-profit advocacy organization working to reduce the public health impacts from air pollution and advance environmental justice. We believe that everyone has a right to breathe clean air and that where you live, work, learn, and play should not determine your health.
Bayou City Waterkeeper (BCWK) is a Houston-based organization focusing on water quality, wetlands protection, and flood mitigation across our region with an emphasis on climate resilience and environmental justice. BCWK serves the lower Galveston Bay watershed, a 10-county region that encompasses greater Houston.
BikeHouston is a Houston-based nonprofit committed to transforming Houston into a city where anyone, regardless of who they are or where they live, can safely and easily get around by bike.
The Coalition for Environment, Equity, and Resilience (CEER) is a collaborative of 28 non-profit member organizations building a movement for environmental justice protection that centers community and leverages the power of technical experts as well as the lived experiences of the most impacted people.
LINK Houston advocates for a robust and equitable transportation network so that all people can reach opportunity. We envision a world in which all people in Harris County can safely and easily access jobs, educational experiences, medical appointments, grocery stores, greenspace, and other important destinations, regardless of their mode of transportation.
